Position Title: Game Localization Project Manager

Full Job Description

Leading full lifecycle of the game localization projects and be responsible for all aspects of the projects under management, including time, cost, resource, quality, communication, risk management, etc., to ensure a smooth progress of project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closing, as well as an On-time, within budget and high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage project schedules, scope, budget, progress, risks, quality, feedback, query, deliveries, etc.

2. Deliver all projects on time and within budget in accordance with client requirements and quality expectations

3. Create and manage project kits and assets (TM, Glossary, Styleguide, Checklist), run project kick-offs and post-project analysis initiatives

4. Check the unit price, quantity and amount in the PO for accuracy, contact client if there is any problem

5. Coordinate with Linguists, DTP specialists, QA to create strategy and timeline to support project needs, keep follow-ups to ensure everything on the way

6. Lead kickoff and regular meetings with translation suppliers or attend clients ’meeting

7. Provide support and guidance to team members, including enforce quality and project style guidelines, On-board and train new resources, troubleshoot all queries and support requests

8. Develop creative proposals to streamline processes and identify new solutions to meet the client’s needs

Requirements:

BA/BS degree or above

Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Chinese and English

Hands on experience as a localization project manager is a Plus, anyone who have great passion for Project Management is also welcomed

Familiarity with computer-aided translation platforms or tools such as Trados, Wordfast, MemoQ, XTM, Xbench, etc. is preferred

Strong attention to detail, proactive and accountable with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressure

Good teamwork and excellent interaction skill in collaboration, giving and gaining support, and with stakeholders

Ambitious and with a desire to learn and progress
